Working Party e-Justice informed about LINE

In two consecutive meetings of the Working Party of e-Justice, EULIS-representatives made presentations on the EULIS-portal and the achievements in the LINE-project.

In October Rik Wouters, managing director, presented all new features of the EULIS service and showed the screenshots of the new website. The delegates of the various member states appreciated a lot the results delivered in time and within the budget. He also elaborated on the business strategy 2012-2015. Focus in the future will be to get more countries connected, but more in particular to stimulate the use of the platform. New services and extension of information were discussed. In future data on servitudes, tax value of properties, spatial data will be provided.

In November EULIS was again invited to the Working Party meeting. Gerard Leenders, senior EULIS consultant, explained in detail the results of the LINE-project. The EULIS platform is now state-of-the-art. Specific discussion concentrated on the further integration of the EULIS-service in the e-Justice portal. The delegates found it important that also non-member state can be member of EULIS and can be connected to member-states.
